Civilian Traffic Control Officer Training
Over the last several years demand for traffic control at road construction projects has exceeded the number of detail officers available. As a result many municipalities are beginning to utilize Civilian Traffic Control personnel to fill their needs.
Civilian Traffic Control Officers are non-sworn personnel and training requirements are at the discretion of the Chief of Police or Appointing Authority.
